    Located in and on the rock face of a mountain, the dens are all inside winding caves. Maiden Lane Cats are used to the darkness of sewers, so they don't mind. The rock face is sheer, and has many cliffs. Some tunnels and dens open out onto these, allowing a place to survey the territory and bask in the sun.
